June 5th, 2026 — This week, I self-published the second book in the Detectives For Hire series: The Clockwork Coroner. (3rd book overall)
Now, it’s time for a little self-care — not by stepping away from creativity, but by truly enjoying the creative process again. Because of that, I’ll be taking a one-month hiatus from my weekly blog posts throughout June.
I anticipate returning on Saturday, July 4th, 2026, with an “America’s 250th Birthday!” post.
The pen will still be moving … just in a different capacity.
Part of me wants to revisit The Murder of Crowe. Now that it serves as the keystone to a series, I’d love to polish and refine it further. Another part of me is intrigued by the possibility of adapting The Clockwork Coroner into a comic book series format.
Or maybe the right answer is simpler than either of those: just pause long enough to celebrate that the book is alive and out in the world.
Regardless of which path I take next, I’ll catch you on the flipside.
